The First Half Was A Bit Too Slow In My first half was a bit too slow in my But the other half was very oodWhyever was one of the female characters called Francesco It s a man s nameWorth reading I received this book through first reads and uickly Bought The First Edition To This Series After Receiving It the first edition to this series after receiving it the first book Sorrowline from start to finishAnd I can tell you even after the fantastic beginning Timesmith didn t fail to dissapoint Another amazing book filled with adventure sorrow awesome fighting and of course time travel It s written beautifully and keeps you drawn in from beginning to end I know keeps you drawn in from beginning to end I know sure that I will also be buying the next edition to this series No doubt about thatThis book will be perfect for 1314 but although it s a middle rade book it s one I feel you can still enjoy at an older ageAbsolutely brilliant Can t wait for the next one I read this for work haven t read the first book in the series However it was action packed well written for the 8 12 age Inverloch Volume 4 group Great characters that make you want to learn about them too This book sets it up nicely for the next in the series but I wish I d read them in order The second book in the Sorrowline series was reallyood I actually as a whole enjoyed it than the first book because I knew and liked the characters already and was looking forward to finding out how their journey to find the sword Durendal would unfold I love Eloise and how she protects Jack and Davey from as much danger as she can regardless of how much pain or injury it costs her I also liked the introduction of Hilda because she is funny and intriguing but with hidden secrets of her own I found this part of the story uicker to read than Sorrowline because there is so much action and suspense in it You also find out about Jack and his family line as well as the Rose within himA very The Good and Beautiful God good series for young readers who are fans of fantasy and suspense reads Aripping and exciting sci fifantasy adventure Plenty of twists and turns to keep you ue. Of Books I Have A Bit Of A Dip Inbooks I have A bit of a dip in middle not uite on the same high level as Sorrowline 1 in the series on the same high level as Sorrowline 1 in the series the last chapters raised it up sharply First thoughts after finishing the last page You do not end a book like this When does the next one come out Gah I won this book through Good Read First ReadsJack Morrow is a timesmith someone with the ability to travel back in time using Sorrowlines the channel that connects The Horse in Celtic Culture gravestones to the date of their death Jack has appeared in 1940s London to help hisrandad hounded by the Paladin undead in a race against time to reach Durendal a fabled magical sword that could resurrect the master of the PaladinGreat concept but it didn t work for me it felt like you were dumped in the middle of a book rather than starting at the start There were characters and events that were mentioned but not explained that had happened previouslyIt kept mentioning Cayden in relation to Eloise you had to read to page 200 almost to find out who he was and what had happened to himJack was uite insufferable as a character any time he did anything mean and hurt someone he went to sob in the corner until all was forgiven yes I realise he s only 13 but stillIf you re oing to ive it a Every Boys Dream go maybe start with Book 1 and some inconsistencies might be ironed out or explained so it s easier to follow I received this book as a free FirstReadsiveawayThis is the second book in the Timesmith series It is just as Starflight Zero good and enjoyable as the first book The author has a way of creating new races of creatures and their uniue interaction in society and all with a level of plausibility The book ended with aood satisfying finish yet left open the avenue for book 3 I strongly recommend this series Book review will be published Jack is forced into an uneasy alliance with Hilda a strange A Succession of Bad Days girl with a hidden past Together they must find their way through the treacherous underground city of Ealdwyc and stop Rouland's return Jack's future and that of his entire family depends on Ssing and enthralled plusreat characters and dialogue A very enjoyable read my only regret is that I didn t read its precursor as that might ve helped me understand the key characters a bit better I received this book for free as part of Goodreads First Reads iveawaysThis review may contain spoilersTo be completely honest this book was one of those I entered just because The cover and blurb
looked interesting but I m not sure I would have zeroed in on it to buy if it was oninteresting but I m not sure I would have zeroed in on it to buy if it was on bookshelf in front of meI did however particularly like this book I found it really uick and easy to read and I was a Bit Surprised At How Dark surprised at how dark was for a book which is meant to be for readers younger than meThe first scene in the book did succeed in pulling me in really uickly I was immediately interested in the characters and storyline and I wanted to carry on reading to find out what was oing to happen to them allTime travel isn t a uniue concept and probably hasn t been for a very long time This particular take on time travel was a fairly uniue one very long time This particular take on time travel was a fairly uniue one It did set the tone for this book to be an especially darker oneIt s interesting to read books where characters have seen their future selvesthe future selves of people they know I didn t actually see Future Davey in this book but as the other characters reflected on what he was like in the future I found myself The Grave Of The Right Hand growing concerned along with themI liked the characters but I would have liked to know about their histories Hilda was an interesting character but she did kind of keep changing personality I felt sorry for her when they went back in time though One scene in particular has stuck with me and really bothered meThere are a couple of things that have confused me about the time travel though I kind of think there was at least one thing that could have been changed or at least an attempt made to change itThe book was particularly well written and it was really nice to see properrammar being used I m especially thinking of Blah blah blah he wondered as opposed to Bl. Mself in a secret world deep under the streets of 1940's London Hunted by the undead knights of the Paladin Jack must find the fabled lost sword of Durendal before it can be used to resurrect the Paladin's evil master RoulandSeparated from his friends.
