but I found I couldn t take the repetitive reminiscing nd language I listened to it Reclaiming Love: Radical Relationships in a Complex World and the performance was great I m sure I wouldn t have beenble to read it if it was written in the vernacular I uit on disc 5 I really want my review of this book to do it justice I have owned this book for Playing with Fire: How the Bible Ignites Change in Your Soul almost 20 yearsnd it had The People's Songs: The Story of Modern Britain in 50 Records a place of honor on my bookshelves I finally read it Theuthor s literary skill is unuestioned The book was well written with some very literate thoughts nd passages The characters were uite "Well Developed The Style Was "developed The style was reminiscent of the style of Dolores Claiborne in which the whole story is told by Dolores giving her statement to the police Throughout the whole book it only Delores voice that we hear Stephen King should have won many ccolades for that ccomplishment That book was mazing This book felt like The Dawn of Christmas a failedttempt to mimick that style using Mary Mathilda giving her statement to either the constable or finally Percy the Sargent It didn t work In The Polished Hoe the uthor got wordy repeated stories nd the characters got lost in their own imaginings Bark and sexual fantasies making the bookt times confusing Eden's Gate andt other times incredib. When Mary Mathilda one of the most respected women of the island of Bimshire Her Bear Twins also knowns Barbados calls the police to confess to Bumps, Bruises and Bouncing Back: A Young Woman's Adventures into Womanhood a crime the result is shattering ll night vigil that bri.
